A microwave and fridges in my twin room were a very thoughtful addition.

The hotel was clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The manager was nice enough to show us where to go and where things are (like supermarkets, convenient stores, metro). The rooms were a little small but clean overall. The AC was strong enough which was a plus since we were there during the hottest day in may! Our breakfast was delivered on time everyday, according to when we wanted it. Overall, not a bad hotel at all if you are on a budget. The parking was small but free! The manager even let us leave the car there all day the day we checked out while we walked down to old montreal.
The bathroom needs abit of work in terms of renovations but it's clean. The area isn't the greatest but safe enough. There's alot of homeless and shirtless walking everywhere.

clean, newly renovated, central location
The room lacks adequate window shades!!! The hallway noise from outside is noticeable. Choose your room wisely if you're sensitive to sound!!! It could use a better upkeep to avoid plumbing leaks!!!

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was decently clean, and the price was right.
The hotel was pretty noisy at night. There was limited parking available (though it was free if you were able to find a spot).

Impeccably clean and amazing place and the breakfast was plentiful and adequate. The location was good and unbeatable for walking around Gay Village. Plus it was in a busy area. Cheap restaurant served Vietnamese specialities. I really enjoyed the hotel overall.

Receptionist was welcoming and shared maps, directions, and areas best for tourists to walk/shop/eat/sightsee. Continental breakfast was very simple but brought to our room at a time we chose which was nice. The location is perfect: on the outskirts of the Gay Village and very close to my favourite part of Montreal, Rue St. Denis.
Room was old and not in good condition. It was obvious that a paint job was all that was done to address the aesthetics.Efforts have been given to the hallways and staircase area which saves the overall look of the interior. But I didnt care since I was never in the hotel and I was looking for budget.

Location and price are great. Friendly staff were quick to correct an issue with cigarette smell in first room I was assigned. (Gave me a new room without question.) Hotel is fine inside, outside does not look so great... don't be put off.

Older hotel and very clean. Continental breakfast in room was great. Hotel staff was very pleasant and helpful. Park in the parking lot across the street, the price is very reasonable on weekends.
The Rue Ste. Catherine area is not a high end area. However, very good restaurants are available 3 to 4 blocks to the west and the walk is safe.

I loved the room, especially the bath room, it was super clean. I loved the price and the complimentary breakfast. The hotel is centrally located and offers free parking.
The reception, no AC in the room, we did not receive the breakfast at the expected time (1st morning only after the 3rd call, 2nd morning delayed), the bed was making noises and the walls were rather thin.

Great location near transit and attractions! My room had a comfy bed and updated decor. A mini fridge was a savvy touch-eating out can be pricey, darling!
The shower might have won a gold medal in the leaks Olympics. Be prepared for a surprise serenade from neighbors-those walls are thinner than my patience!

The morning continental breakfast was a nice touch, and the French -Canadian woman who presented it at the door was very pleasant(I've forgotton her name, but I gave her a tip when I left for all her hard work). She also makes up the bed when you go out.. Considering this hotel is right in the middle of Montreal it is quiet and cozy..

Adequate breakfast with honey with coffee, over-stewed coffee, great and perfect location. The room tidy and modern, bed exceptionally comfortable.
